Welcome to Code-Sync! By accessing or using Code-Sync, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully. Code-Sync is operated by Girls Dream Code and is designed to foster a supportive community focused on STEM education and engagement.

1. Eligibility
Code-Sync is intended for users ages 13 and older who are interested in STEM education. For users under 18, parental or guardian consent is required through our liability forms that are signed at program registration. Users under 13 require additional parental consent and will have limited access to certain community features.

2. Community Guidelines
We strive to create a safe, respectful, and supportive community. By using Code-Sync, you agree to:

Respect Others: Be kind and considerate. Harassment, bullying, or harmful behavior of any kind is prohibited.
Stay On Topic: Content should relate to STEM education, community support, and program activities.
Protect Privacy: Do not share personal information or ask for others’ personal information within the app.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Violating these guidelines may result in a warning, content removal, or suspension from Code-Sync.

3. Content Ownership and Usage

User-Generated Content: Users retain ownership of content they post within the app (e.g., comments, photos), but grant Girls Dream Code a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and share this content within the app for community-building and educational purposes.
Nonprofit Content: All logos, educational materials, and app features are the property of Girls Dream Code and are protected by intellectual property laws.

4. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. If you suspect unauthorized access, please contact us at info@girlsdreamcode.org

5. Limitation of Liability
Code-Sync is provided "as is." Girls Dream Code is not liable for any damages resulting from the use of the app. We strive to maintain a safe platform but cannot guarantee that all content is accurate or secure.

Child Safety Standards Policy

At Code-Sync, the safety and privacy of our users-especially children-are our top priority. Our app is designed with safeguards to protect users under 18 and does not collect, share, or sell personal data. We do not include any harmful or inappropriate content, and all community features are moderated to ensure a safe, respectful environment. We comply with Google Play’s Families Policy and all applicable child safety laws, including COPPA. If you have any concerns or need to report an issue, please contact us at info@girlsdreamcode.org.

To request a deletion of your account, enter the email that you used to create an account on the Code-Sync app and your account will be deleted shortly.
